Our Mission at Open Book Therapy is to provide direct and indirect speech services for students and adults. Our services include articulation, phonology, "LSVT LOUD," language, dysfluency, voice and accent reduction. Communicating with success and confidence is our goal for you. We also provide therapeutic tools, educational support for IEP and educational information. Evaluation and treatment is a priority.
Our goal for students is to support their communication and educational needs by providing additional speech and language services as outlined in their IEP. Meaningful, fun tools and activities that are effective is essential for success.
Kathleen is a "LSVT LOUD" trained clinician. LSVT trained clinicians offer services to Parkinson's patients. Kathleen has attended the "LSVT" Training and Certification Workshop for treatment of individuals with speech disorders related to Parkinson's disease. Kathleen has been certified by "LSVT Global, LLC" to provide treatment for individuals with speech disorders related to Parkinson's disease and other neurological disorders using the "LSVT" modalities.
Our goal for people who stutter is together we will modify your moments of stuttering so that your fluency is more flowing and effective. Together, we will address your feelings and reduce any fears of stuttering and eliminate behaviors of avoidance.
